Away With The Seas is a progressive metalcore band from the south east of the UK. Our music is intertwined with narrative concepts that explore a multitude of emotions both musically and lyrically.

FUSING GENRE'S IS THE FOREFRONT OF OUR WRITING STYLE, AND WHILST WE ARE STILL IN THE EARLY STAGES OF OUR CAREER, WE HAVE ALL BEEN DEDICATED TO PROGRESSING THE SOUND WE HAVE CREATED BEHIND THE SCENES.

Our logo, titled 'the martyr's hand' symbolizes the polarizing state of depression and struggles with self-identity. With one hand above the waves, it can be as someone drowning, but it can also be said they are breaking through the surface and winning the battle of mental health. there are always positives in life, and together we want to create something bigger than music - a global community who supports each other. love is the best thing we do.

Our concept EP ‘The Odyssey’ includes a lot of lyrical content on battling and overcoming depression, anxiety, loneliness, obsessive thoughts, suicidal thoughts, heartache, abandonment, physical and emotional abuse.
 
There is always hope in struggle, and a light in all of us.
